Michael Bailey

Postdoctoral fellow

In December 2011 I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis in mathematics at the University of Toronto (supervisor Marco Gualtieri). I am now a postdoc working at CIRGET in Montreal, with some teaching duties at McGill. This website is somewhat out of date, but more is coming soon.

My work so far has been studying generalized complex geometry, as initiated by Nigel Hitchin and developed by Marco Gualtieri and others.
